Class Information
This two-day virtual summit will strengthen the workforce capacity to implement whole-person navigation strategies for rural/frontier, underhoused, and other communities disproportionately impacted by HIV. The summit addresses a documented need for practical, person-centered technical assistance that equips HIV navigators, disease intervention specialist (DIS), and other frontline staff with strategies to address barriers across the HIV care continuum.
By the end of the two-day virtual summit, participants will be able to:
- Identify at least three whole-person navigation strategies that address social determinants of health and improve engagement across the HIV prevention and care continuum.
- Identify at least two cross-sector partnerships or referral pathways that strengthen HIV testing, linkage to care, PrEP/post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) access, harm reduction, partner services, or retention in care.
- Develop one actionable strategy to strengthen a navigation, linkage to care, re-engagement in care, or referral workflow.
