Denver Disease Intervention Training Center (DITC)
The Denver Prevention Training Center (PTC), a part of the Public Health Institute at Denver Health and Denver Health and Hospitals, serves as the Denver Disease Intervention Training Center (DITC) -- one of four regional disease intervention training centers funded by the CDC to provide state-of-the-art training to disease intervention specialists (DIS) and other disease intervention staff.
The Denver DITC serves the states of:
- Alabama
- Arkansas
- Colorado
- Florida
- Georgia
- Louisiana
- Mississippi
- North Carolina
- Oklahoma
- South Carolina
- Texas

Due to the COVID pandemic, the National Network of Disease Intervention Training Centers are currently serving as the:
NATIONAL COVID-19 VIRTUAL SKILLS-BASED TRAINING FOR CASE INVESTIGATION & CONTACT TRACING
The goal of the NATIONAL COVID-19 VIRTUAL SKILLS-BASED TRAINING Program is to rapidly and effectively train staff to support public health systems throughout the United States as they mobilize to address COVID-19. This program capitalizes on the exprience of the NNDITC member regional training centers in rapidly mobilizing resources to develop a robust outbreak response effort.
