The Denver Prevention Training Center (PTC)

Founded in 1979, the Denver PTC provides innovative training, consultation and information to healthcare professionals and their organizations. 

The Denver PTC has the unique advantage of being a program within a public health institute (The Public Health Institute at Denver Health) that resides within a large comprehensive healthcare system (Denver Health and Hospital Authority). We operate in partnership with the University of Colorado Denver School of Public Health with whom we share an interdisciplinary staff and faculty.

Our program is supported by a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
